ROBERT WARREN'S

RENAISSANCE GROUP: Teacher Certification Program

Renaissance - (ren !c - säns! ): A new birth; a revival of literature and art in Europe marking the transition from medieval to modern history.

In today's art world, everyone seems to be certifying everyone and the quality of many programs have become questionable. Even the term "Certification" has been so widely used that it has become insignificant. Most programs have no substance and are more about making money than producing a high quality instructor. Most programs also lack follow up resources and support. We have a plan.

After many years of inquiries regarding a Robert Warren Teacher's Certification Program, the Renaissance Group has now arrived. The Renaissance Group maintains the quality and integrity of a teaching program while serving as a proactive transition to a higher level of art. This applies to those interested in teaching or those just wanting to take their art education to the next level. If you are interested in an active career in teaching in a program that is not driven by a specific manufacturer's product sales and offers you unlimited personal growth then this is the program for you.

To teach or not to teach...that is the question.

Can you join the program if you are not interested in teaching? Yes!

While the seminars will be directed toward those interested in teaching, the overall information is extremely valuable for any artist. We have had many inquiries from those not necessarily interested in teaching, but want to focus on the many techniques taught in the teaching program. Whether you plan on starting a new career by sharing and teaching your passion for art, would like a way to supplement your present or future income, or just want to increase your personal artistic skill level without teaching, we welcome and accept all serious painters. We have found some students do not start with the intent to teach, but with a surge of skill and confidence from even the first seminar of the program, they begin to reconsider their options. We are serious about our program, but we still have fun and encourage and invite all who want to learn more to join us.

Why Renaissance Group?

This group of instructors will be the transition between the elementary landscape art teachers and fine art instructors. A Renaissance Group Artist will be informed of all styles of art and have a well-rounded knowledge of not only technique but art history and theory to bridge this gap.

The Renaissance Group Program will offer you:

  • A broad range of instructional material with teaching rights.
  • Proven Course Packages for all categories
  • Exclusive seminars for new techniques
  • Ongoing development of creative business practices.
  • Listing on web site with internet link availability
  • Wholesale product resource assistance

Categories of Certification: Choose one or all three -- it's up to you!

  • Landscapes/Seascapes
  • Floral/Still Lifes
  • Wildlife

Each category will be divided into 3 Seminars: Entry Level, Intermediate Level, and Advanced Level. Each seminar is $500 and will be held at The Art Loft and will need to be taken in consecutive order over the next few years. Please do not confuse Entry Level with "Beginner" -- Entry level classes are for art students who have been painting for at least few years and are comfortable with more advanced painting skills -- it is simply the first level of the program.  Each category will follow a similar format of increasing intense learning while developing the skills needed to become a qualified Robert Warren instructor as well as a knowledgable artist. A general education on the history of art will be included in all seminars. Certification will be awarded after the successful completion of the Advanced Level Seminar. Please click on each link for more details. $200 deposit required per seminar.

The seminars will begin with the new cycle in 2011!
