Robert's classes and seminars are geared toward intermediate to advanced painters. The seminars are intense studies, but are not to be seen as
intimidating. If you are unsure of your level, please contact The Art Loft to discuss your options. Question:
What are beginning, intermediate and advanced levels and classes? Answer:
A beginner painter has little or no experience with painting or are trying a new medium. Beginning level classes are taught at a slower pace with instructor assistance. An intermediate painter has knowledge of basic
skills, brush control, and a good understanding of the fundamentals for the medium being used. Intermediate classes are taught at a moderate pace with some instructor assistance. An advanced painter has extensive
experience and skills and is proficient in the medium being taught. An advanced level class is taught at a brisk pace with little or no instructor assistance. Question:
If I can't make it to an entire seminar, may I come for certain projects? Answer:
If the seminar is not full, you may attend for specific projects. Some seminars (Figure Study, Portrait, Plein Air, Renaissance Group) require full attendance. For questions on specific projects, please contact The Art Loft.
