Permission to Teach

NEW GUIDELINES FOR ALL TEACHERS

We now have new guidelines for teaching Robert Warren's projects for all teachers, regardless of any previous permsisson. Thanks to the many loyal friends and students, our business is larger than ever. Therefore, it is necessary from a business point of view, to try our best to keep track of who is teaching what projects. We are simply trying to get a little quality control over the many people teaching my projects -- to keep the good teachers teaching and let those who are not being so ethical know that we are looking out for them. There are many people teaching my projects and with and without permission. It is important to us that you are protected from fellow painters who are teaching without permission. As always, you must receive written permission to teach any of Robert Warren's projects. Some teachers felt that because they were given permission once -- even many years ago -- then they had permission for everything. This is not the case. You need permission each time you want to teach a project. These requirements are an effort to make the permission process fair for everyone involved -- both old and new teachers. Through these guidelines, we are able to keep a better track of everyone. We are trying to support the many teachers who have previously been teaching and encourage newer teachers. If you are new to teaching my projects, these guidelines are a way to make things easier. If you have taught my paintings in the past, these are things that you probably have been doing all along.

The only big change we are asking teachers who have been previously teaching my projects is that you must now fill out a form requesting permission and will then receive a permission certificate for the projects you are teaching. When we send you the permission certificate, you can show anyone who questions your position. If you have never been questioned by students or other teachers, consider yourself lucky. We have heard from many teachers who have been approached by their students on the legitimacy of their project. If you have many projects scheduled throughout the year, please list all of them and we will send you a permission certificate for the entire year's worth.

How do to get permission:  Please contact us at The Art Loft for the full list of requirements and information forms. RobertWarrensArtLoft@gmail.com  or 614-833-1033. Forms will be mailed (not emailed) to you which you will read, sign, and return along with a photo of your version of the project. Thank you for your support. If you are interested in becoming a certified Robert Warren instructor, please read the information on The Renaissance Group.
